Thomas Sweet

Because of my enormous sweet tooth lately, all of my food outings have been for dessert! For my seventh post I chose Thomas Sweet. This little ice cream shop on Easton Avenue has a wide spectrum of different flavors and toppings or "Blend-ins" that you can choose from. They offer ice cream sandwiches on cookies or waffles, soft serve, fro-yo, or even dairy-free ice cream or all-fruit smoothies if you're still working on that summer bod! I have given up on my summer bod so I decided to treat myself to ice cream. I thought I was keeping it simple by ordering "cookie dough" ice cream but this was not your average vanilla-ice-cream-with-chunks-of-cookie-dough. To my surprise, I was handed a little cup of tannish colored ice cream with mini chocolate chips... and I LOVED IT. The ice cream literally tasted like chocolate-chip cookie dough! It was smooth & buttery & brown-sugary with sweet chewy chocolate chips. Great flavor choice on my part. There are two spoons in the picture because I was going to share with my boyfriend but I liked it so much I made him get his own.
