Diesel & Duke

This week I treated myself to a delicious cheeseburger and fries from Diesel & Duke. Now, this definitely isn't my first time at Diesel, but it is one of my favorites and I was glad to have a chance to go back. I happily walked down to the small orange hole-in-the-wall on Easton Avenue and read the menu (for the 6th or 7th time). This time around I ordered a Standard Burger and Ranger Fries. The Standard Burger comes with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and Diesel's aioli. I asked if I could add bacon, because cheeseburgers are just better with bacon, obviously, and a side of mayo, because who doesn't enjoy some extra calories & fat on their greasy cheeseburger? Needless to say, the burger was AMAZING. Hot, juicy, cheesy, delicious - all of the qualities you need in a burger (and a man). A cheeseburger is always paired perfectly with fries right? Especially fries with bacon bits, barbecue sauce, and cheese whiz. Thats right, Ranger Fries consisted of all of the above and it was arguably the best thing I've ever eaten in my life, like ever. For these reasons, and the Smokeshow Burger of course (which is my usual Diesel go-to), I am a very frequent & big spender at this little shop.
