Krispy Pizza

For my first post, I decided to try Krispy Pizza. My boyfriend & I went on a Friday evening around 5:15 & to our surprise, it was not very crowded. We walked up to the counter & gazed at about 10 different pies behind the glass. After a few critical minutes of discussion we decided to order 4 slices: barbecue chicken, chicken ranchero, white, and vodka. My absolute favorite slice was "vodka" which had gooey mozzarella cheese with dollops of vodka sauce & a sesame seeded crust (pictured back left). His favorite & my number two was "chicken ranchero" which had mozzarella cheese topped with pieces of breaded chicken, chopped bacon, diced tomatoes, and drizzled ranch dressing (pictures bottom right). The next best slice was the "barbecue chicken" which had mozzarella cheese topped with pieces of grilled chicken, red onions, & drizzled barbecue sauce (pictured bottom left). Our least favorite slice was "white" (even though we ate the whole thing anyway) which was simply ricotta cheese & melted mozzarella (pictured back right). A few things were consistent across the board: the cheese & the crust. If you eat your pizza on site when it comes right out of the oven, the cheese is perfectly melty & gooey & stringy when you bite into it, and the crust really is "Krispy" on the bottom & outside but soft & warm in the middle. If you're not a pizza person (I really don't know who wouldn't be, but just incase) you can also order one of their "rolls" fresh out of the oven, wings, or a delicious pasta dinner. Overall it was definitely a great experience and I will definitely be back to try more of their eccentric slices!
